Right, so I think it’s time I finally started writing on this damn thing. The only person that I’m good friends with and actually has one of these is my dear friend “LL”. (Let’s keep it at that, cause I’m making this truly anonymous, and therefore I can’t expose anyone). She doesn’t write on it every day but on a fairly acceptable basis. To make up for my - err, laziness, I vow to start writing as of February 1, 2011 every single day. Yeah, that’s right, every 24 hours. It’s my first new year’s resolution, which brings me to the rest of them.
2) Stop procrastinating.
Specifically, this goes for school, but could pretty much go with every other aspect of my life too. So my AP Psychology Intelligence test on February 8th? Yeah, I’m going to start studying for that today. Mhmm, and assignments that are due on a Friday, should be completed by Tuesday? I’m just pretty much going to stop leaving things till the last day. I get stressed out really easily, so now I can avoid so much of that and besides nothing like a good feeling when everyone’s all frantic the period before a test, but you’re all ready.
3) Don’t be late for anything, ever.
Especially for school. My homeroom class is AP Economics, and I have the chillest teacher on this whole planet, so even if I walk in half an hour late (which happens more often than you’d think), he doesn’t say anything or marks me late. Clearly, I took advantage of, but this year, I hope to be in class 5 minutes before the bell rings, every day. Not that I try to be late, its just something that comes to me!
4) Since were on a “be-a-nerd” roll, pay attention the whole 60 minutes in every class.
Don’t doodle. Don’t stare at pictures of Sidney Crosby. Don’t talk. Don’t daydream. Don’t listen to music. Don’t zone off. Stay there. Listen to every word. Take it all down.
5) Eat healthier?
Yeah, and drink more water. Random, but essentially important. Besides, water solves like everything.
6) Watch more movies/TV/ & more recreational reading.
Uhh, yeah, didn’t see that one coming did you? And it’s really not what it looks like. It’s just that in my free time, I spend it ALL on FB/MSN, like I spend at least 6 hours in a day on it, so yeah, I’m going to be more productive and use that time more wisely.
7) At least half an hour on iht.com every day (New York Times).
Apparently, reading the newspaper increases your knowledge a lot, so what’s better than reading from the most prestigious newspaper in the world? Plus, it just opens your mind, and yeah, other beneficial things. J
Uhh, yeah, I can’t seem to think of anything else for now. I just really want to get those 7 up and running in my life. This blog idea seems to be the most tempting one. Hope you guys enjoy! :D
